Day #4462 (Fri., Mar. 25, 2022) – Piercing Katie’s Ears

I drove Bobby out to “Blue Bamboo” in Durham to get a haircut with CiCi this morning.  For some reason, on the way there and back, Bobby kept mentioning that he had a quarter and a penny, but he had no nickel and lost his dime.  I told him that I would give him a nickel, and once he started making money he could give me a nickel, and once he found his dime, he could give me my dime back… 🙂  He seemed to like this conversation, so we kept talking and talking about it.

This afternoon I went to Trader Joe’s to get supplies.  We are, as usual, out of milk, and chocolate milk.  We also needed maple syrup and Greek yogurt, and I picked up some ciabatta rolls as well.

When I got home, I figured out what the problem was as to why the metal rod on the fence gate would not go into the hole in the ground.  The reason was that the bracket that held the gate to the fence was bent.  A few whacks with the hammer and it was back in place.  Problem solved!

Later this afternoon my wife took Katie to get her ears pierced.
