Day #4492 (Sun., Apr. 24, 2022) – Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream
Bobby was up at 6 am this morning. He was very fussy today so this afternoon my wife gave him a bath. He was yawning quite a bit, so my wife put him to bed for a nap.
I thought I would try a little bit of an experiment with Maple. While I was sitting on the LazyBoy I could see Maple sleeping on the vent in the dining room. I ever so quietly said “play ball”. Her ear perked up. I waited a bit and said it again and her eyes opened. The next time she was at my LazyBoy so excited about the prospect of going out. I felt like I had to take her out and play ball with her then…
The neighbors chickens sometimes wander over to our property (see photo to the right). I gave them some stale bread. There are only two left courtesy of the foxes that roam around our neighborhood.
The cherry vanilla ice cream I got at Harris-Teeter yesterday (on sale mind you for under $2) is really tasty. I told Katie about it. I think it will really align with her tastebuds.
Katie and Murren are working on a play. Katie said that she was going to do the fashion, and Murren promised to do the plot and songs, but it looks like Katie will be doing it all.
