Day #4506 (Sun., May. 8, 2022) – Mother’s Day
It’s Mother’s Day today. The kids each gave mom a card and I gave her an orchid that I picked up at Trader Joe’s yesterday (see photo to the right).
This afternoon Katie and I had another Daddy/Daughter Day (#118). We went to McDonald’s, which is her favorite. She likes to get the two-cheeseburger meal with a strawberry slushie. We talked about visualization, her life at school, etc.
On the way home we stopped off at Harris-Teeter and picked up a half-dozen donuts. We like to get this as it’s something nice that both Katie and Bobby can enjoy when we get home.
This afternoon we watched some YouTube videos about visualization. Tomorrow we are going to implement the plan in earnest.
The kids have been in their glory this weekend as far as video games go. Dylan and the gang called on Friday, Saturday, and then numerous times today to play.
