Day #4514 (Mon., May. 16, 2022) – Mannequin
The photo to the left shows the mannequin that Katie picked up at the consignment sale yesterday.
I dropped off Bobby at Glenwood this morning. He was sketching stuff in the back seat and not really in the mood to talk much. I did learn that they will be having pizza bagels for lunch.
This afternoon I picked up Bobby from Glenwood. The internet connection sometimes doesn’t work so it was rather frustrating in line this afternoon. On the way home I told Bobby that if he wanted to look like a genius, when someone asks him if he knows the theory of relativity he should respond, “General or Specific”… as most people think there is only one.
Bobby brought his school iPad home this afternoon as tomorrow there will be online classes. He’s very excited as classes are only 3 1/2 hours! I think in some ways he longs for the class schedule he had during the pandemic.
My wife took Katie to see the dermatologist this afternoon. She is starting to have pimples. Nothing serious, but it’s good to start looking into stuff like this when you are young. I had a chemistry teacher in 11th grade whose face was ravaged by acne when he was a teen.
The kids had viola/violin class this afternoon.
