My wife’s travel documents are in the mail, so we will be going to Canada for Christmas. My mother will be so excited to see little Katie. She’s seen her via Skype, but now she will be able to see her in real life. We called her tonight to tell her the good news.
For some reason little Katie is starting to purse her lips and go “Boooo” or “Booop” or something like that. Maybe these are sounds that she could not formulate earlier in her life.
The photo to the left shows some tights that little Katie got in the package from Lithuania. She will get a lot of use out of this piece of clothing now that we know we are going to Canada for Christmas.
My wife spent a lot of time this evening searching for good flights to Canada. We want to make sure that we don’t pay a fortune for them, but we also need to make sure that we don’t spend too much time in the airport on connecting flights and such. Little Katie is fussy at home…I can’t imagine having to deal with this at a busy airport.
Little Katie was very fussy this evening. She just would not sleep. I went to bed around 9:30pm when it looked like she was done for the day, but my wife woke me up around 11pm. She was up and running and fussy and crying. We decided that we would go for a drive to Apex and back as that always does the trick. Worked like a charm…she didn’t even “chipmunk” like she usually does. We was “out like a light”. When we got home my wife nursed her and put her to bed and that was it.
