Day #4522 (Tue., May. 24, 2022) – COVID Test Negative
The opossum is gone this morning, so just shutting the door and leaving it be did the trick.
Bobby’s COVID test came back negative, but we’re keeping Bobby home from school for another day. He has a cold or something, and I seem to be having the same symptoms. Runny nose… Tired…

This evening I cut up a large slice of watermelon and Bobby and I sat in the living room watching the television together. I told Bobby that one of the best things to go with watermelon is to watch the news… He groaned, but relented… The news it is…
Bobby and I then got into a long discussion on the purpose of seeds inside the watermelon. Why? One reason is so that the birds can distribute them via their “poop”.
I also showed Bobby the proper way to walk with a knife. With the blade pointing down and away from you. Most definitely not in the other direction.
We have started implementing the plan where the kids cannot get on their iPads until after their homework and viola/violin practice is done. They are not too happy about it, but it’s the best course of action.
