Day #4530 (Wed., Jun. 1, 2022) – New Pen Organizer

I’m feeling better, but not well enough to resume my regular “picking up the kids” duties, so my wife did this today.  Hopefully I will feel better in a couple of days.  The medicine is working great, but as usual, this sort of thing ends up in my throat and I start coughing.  This means I can’t sleep, which means I’m extremely tired and my throat and lungs hurt tremendously.

Katie has a new organizer for her pens and markers (see photo to the left).

Bobby didn’t do as well in math this semester as he did last semester.  My wife attributes this to her spending all the time she spent teaching him while we were still in lockdown.  He did exceptional in Chinese this semester though, so all is well.

My wife found a couple of cushions for the new folding chair we got on Saturday.  Now I can sit in it without the little plastic pieces digging into the back of my legs.

I tried to encourage Katie to befriend Alex, the “popular girl” in school who stood up for Katie the other day.  I said that all she needed to do was to say “thanks” to her and leave it at that.  Then let the “visualization” take over.  We have to do our part…  Who knows where this will lead…
