Day #4532 (Fri., Jun. 3, 2022) – Last Friday Of School
Both kids mentioned to me that this was the last Friday of the school year. Highlights like this need to be mentioned… 🙂
Bobby had cheese quesadillas today for lunch. Katie had the customary Friday meal of chicken nuggets.
Bobby has art class on Friday, and since this is the last Friday of the school year, he brought his collection of art projects home.
Katie’s teacher was cleaning out her desk and gave her a black widow resin paperweight (see photo to the left).
We are already in anticipatory mode for our beach vacation to Ocracoke. We are thinking of getting a couple of RC dune buggies so that Bobby and I can play them on the beach. I see Amazon has a pair of them (one red and one blue) that can be raced together. They are waterproof and can go into the water as well. Won’t that be fun? Trying to run them into the water and having the waves tumble them back to the land?
