Day #4543 (Tue., Jun. 14, 2022) – Golf Cart Rental
We get DirectTV in the main house, which doesn’t say much… It seems that there is mostly online shopping channels, offering QVC type stuff and jewelry, and some religion channels as well! They do have an “old time” shows channel, so I watched Gunsmoke this morning at 3:30 am. I haven’t seen Gunsmoke since I was a child. In this particular episode a husband kills his younger wife and tries to blame it on a stranger they met.
They have the game of Connect 4 at the house so Katie, Bobby, and I played a game this morning before my wife woke up.
We rented a golf cart this morning and drove around the island. We went to see the marina area, to the lighthouse, and all over the place. We were not allowed to drive it past Howard’s Pub though.
We stopped off at the Village Craftsman so the kids could get some gifts. Bobby picked up a kaleidoscope (see photo to the right). Katie picked up some earrings.
Later in the afternoon we got some subs from Jason’s Deli and took them home to eat.
This evening was our first “Ghost Tour” courtesy of the Village Craftsman. The tour guide was the daughter of the man who gave us the tour on our honeymoon. She showed us one particular house that they say is haunted and it is available to rent. Katie wants to stay there…
