Day #4549 (Mon., Jun. 20, 2022) – First Day Back!
It’s great to be back…and sleep in my own bed again! It might take a while for my firm mattress to fix what the “marshmallow” mattress on Ocracoke did… 🙂 I put some heat rub on my back to help out.
The kids had their first day of viola/violin camp this morning. They were not too happy to attend… 🙁 Too bad it was this week and not next week so that they could have a week to unwind and chill at home a bit.
During the week on Ocracoke I put notes in my phone, so now it’s the long process of transferring these notes and adding pictures to this blog…
The photo to the left shows the Blackbeard book that we picked up for Bobby on Ocracoke. This will make for some fine story reading while putting him to bed.
The kids did well during viola/violin camp today. Katie paired up with Anabel to perform some duets. I asked Bobby if he did well today and he responded by saying that he was now playing on his iPad so he must have done well (we take it away from him if he is fussy during class).
