Day #321 (Sat., Nov. 20, 2010) – “52-Pickup”
It’s 10am and little Katie and I are watching the Raleigh Christmas Parade on television. She is sitting on my belly and is fascinated. She will be going to bed soon…
I got a plastic recycling bin from the garage. I need to wash it to make sure it is super clean, but we plan to place it in the playyard for little Katie. The diaper boxes are becoming too short for her to adequately assist her in standing up.
1:00pm – Little Katie is up and running. Time for daddy to take her for a stroll around the lake.
We had a Skype session with my mother this afternoon. We will be in Canada in few short weeks and we are already making plans.
I gave little Katie the playing cards that we bought last night and they were a big hit. Even though they were laminated it’s amazing how much damage little Katie’s saliva and teeth can do (see photo to the right). We played “52-pickup”…well at least I did…little Katie doesn’t have her part down pat just yet. She got a great kick out of me throwing the cards at her.
9:00pm – “All Aboard The Animal Train”…little Katie is pushing the button that starts this song up…again and again and again and (did I mention again?)…
