Day #4560 (Fri., July 1, 2022) – Singing Class For Bobby

Happy Canada Day!

Every year frogs lay eggs in our backyard pool.  Katie takes them to a little container that she fills with water from the creek (see photo to the left) to raise them to maturity.  Today she told me that the eggs have “gone clear”, which means that they are developing and will soon be hatching.  Once they grow up they eventually hop out and start their new life “wherever”…

My wife took the kids to the Clark Pool in Carrboro today for the first time this year.  As soon as it opens nobody is there…a great time to swim by yourself.  I had things to do, so I didn’t go, but will…

Katie put some of her photos from Ocracoke into a nice picture frame today.  My wife put the picture up on Facebook and people are loving it.  It already has about 500 likes and people are saying what a great eye she has for visual composition.

Katie had another singing class with our neighbor this afternoon.  Bobby has expressed an interest in learning to sing, so he tagged along as well.  We asked him after the lesson if he wanted to learn to sing and he basically said that he was good for now.

We watched another episode of “Snowflake Mountain” on Netflix this evening.  I was joking with Bobby that we should send him to Mr. Yang’s summer camp on “Chinese Culture”… 🙂  He really hates that class!

My wife signed Katie up for another art class with the same art instructor she has had for the past few years.  In this particular class they teach how to draw animals.
