Day #4570 (Mon., July 11, 2022) – Miller Wilson
I had a dentist appointment this afternoon. I had to take the van as the Camry was towed to Lloyd’s Tire courtesy of AAA. Lloyd’s Tire will not get a chance to look at it till tomorrow afternoon, so we’ll be without a second car for a bit longer.
We had a bunch of strawberries starting to go bad in the fridge so I thought I would make some strawberry ice cream. It was a bit runnier than I would have liked, so it effectively became a strawberry milkshake (see photo to the left). Everyone liked it!
This evening Katie and I watched a bit of television while my wife put Bobby to bed. We started off with a series on Netflix called “The Future Of”. The first episode dealt with “dogs” and how we might be able to communicate with them in the future. I don’t think this is necessarily a good idea. Once humans realize how selfish dogs are and only thinking about themselves, they might not like them as much any more.
We then watched a YouTube episode about “Miller Wilson”. He’s a young Australian boy who wanders around the outback looking for wild animals. He gets too close to snakes and crocs for my comfort. When he cooked up a couple of crabs for lunch Katie affirmed her desire to become a vegetarian.
