Day #4578 (Tue., July 19, 2022) – Magnets!
I had a dentist appointment this morning for a small filling. When I got home around 12:15 pm I took the kids to the pool. Since we were a bit later arriving today, there were more kids at the pool. Bobby brought his little wind-up skin diver toy. Within the hour the kids had enough so we went home.
This afternoon Bobby wanted to play with the little transformer toys we played with almost a year ago. Not sure what prompted him to want to play with this today, but I dug them up and we had fun playing with them together. We also played with some of the tiny magnets I had at my desk (see photo to the right).
Bobby asked me what is more important to me, money or family. I answered family and we talked about how not having enough money could put a lot of stress on the family.
Eventually Bobby wanted to watch “Try Not To Laugh” on YouTube, so we watched some “Five Nights At Freddy’s” ones in the bedroom. He laughed and laughed as he munched on some freshly made popcorn with “kettle corn” powder topping.
I’m compiling a lit of things to do with the kids this summer. Sketching landscapes, oven baked cinnamon buns with heavy cream (which simulates those of Cinnabon at the mall), and cotton candy!
