Day #4596 (Sat., Aug. 6, 2022) – Nerf Gun Battles!
Katie showed me the house that she designed for Bobby this morning (see photo to the left).
The neighbor kids, Guenther and Russell arrived in our driveway this afternoon with some RC cars. Maple when crazy of course! My wife asked them to leave as Bobby was sleeping. They asked if they could take Ginger with them, and they did. Ten minutes later Ginger was back at our gate wanting to be let in.
Bobby did go play with Guenther & Russell when he got up from his nap. He spent three hours running around with them playing Nerf guns. Reminds me of when I was young and played in the neighborhood with my friends. When he got home he was hungry and ate quite a bit. He asked for extra cucumbers, which he loves!
The kids were all exciting this evening as Dylan sent a message saying that they could probably play tomorrow. He has been in Hawaii for a couple of weeks.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is this weekend. I watched some Live cameras on YouTube. Brings back memories of the past couple of years when COVID was raging! It’s still raging, but not a mask in sight in Sturgis!
