Day #4604 (Sun., Aug. 14, 2022) – Maple & Batman
We are out of milk so I make the run to Aldi this morning to get supplies. There were very few people there, so Sunday morning is definitely a good time to go. Along with milk the kids wanted some juice and of course I picked up some “Arctic Bars”, a frozen treat that they love. I picked up some fruit punch juice packs, and while the kids were eager to try them, they tasted horrible. Almost like flavored water? I’m not sure if this is the way they usually taste or this was a “bad batch”.
Katie is interested in becoming an architect and is designing houses in Bloxburg, a Roblox game where you can design cities. The photo to the right shows one of her drawings.
We’re in the planning stage of our trip to Victoria. First up, getting passports for myself and the kids. My wife is all up to date as she got all this done when she was in Washington for her business trip a few months ago. Victoria has a lot of parks, museums, and other great things to see. The problem will be narrowing it all down as we only have about a week to spend before the kids go back to school in January.
The relationship between Maple & Batman took a turn for the worse later today. My wife has been bringing Batman up from the basement to “acclimate” him to Maple with the hopes that he will come up and live here now that he no longer has his brother Robin to keep him company. Well, my wife brought him up, and after a while he started to go back, and Maple tracked him down and attacked him… Not sure how this “relationship” will proceed from here…
