Day #4611 (Sun., Aug. 21, 2022) – Canadian Bacon & Pineapple Pizza
I went shopping at Harris-Teeter this afternoon for groceries. The plan was to get some more of their “Count Chocula”, “Franken Berry”, and “Boo Berry” cereal, but they didn’t have any in stock. I was at a different Harris-Teeter than the other day, so is it a store specific deal? Maybe they were such a hit that they are all sold out at Harris-Teeter’s now? I will have to look around and find out.
I did get two bunches of bananas as Katie wants to make smoothies and you never know when Bobby will go on another of his “banana binges”. He might be in a growth spurt as he has been eating quite a bit lately.
I also picked up a “Canadian bacon” and pineapple pizza (see photo to the left)! Similar to a Hawaiian pizza I bet! The kids expressed an interest in having a Hawaiian pizza the other day, but when I brought this home Bobby said that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza. Go figure!
I forgot to ask for my 5% senior citizen’s discount today… 🙂 It’s a habit that I’m going to have to learn.
This evening Bobby and I sat in the living room asking Alexa to tell us jokes. He also showed me a set of keys and said that they worked on the bedroom door, but not on other doors.
