Day #4614 (Wed., Aug. 24, 2022) – Middle School Meeting
A huge box of clothes for the new school year came today for Katie. She enjoyed trying them out!
I’ve been watching videos on YouTube about Holly – The Cafe Boat. I showed one of them to Bobby this morning and we talked a bit about what a canal is and what a lock is for.
The sword that Bobby picked up on Ocracoke is broke. He probably didn’t take daddy’s advice and smacked it against something hard. At any rate, I’m trying to repair it. I couldn’t find the Gorilla glue, so I used regular white glue (see photo to the right). Somehow I think it won’t be strong enough…
There was a school meeting at Katie’s Middle School this afternoon. A chance to get the class schedule, see your classroom, and meet the teachers. The kids each got an ice cream, so they enjoyed that!
