Day #327 (Fri., Nov. 26, 2010) – Fingerprints Affirmative

One year ago today I came up with the concept for this blog. My wife and I went to see the movie “Julie and Julia” and the lead character decided to make one of the recipes out of Julia Child’s cookbook each day for a year. I thought…why not create a blog and write a post for each day of our new daughter’s life. This is where the concept of this blog began.

8:30am – Little Katie is up and is on my bed with me…chewing my belt. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is on television and she is thoroughly entertained with it.

It’s sometimes hard to feed little Katie. Today we thought we would give her the opportunity to feed herself. You can see the little cheese bits with yogurt in the photo to the right. As you can tell, a lot made it onto her face…but some did actually reach the target of her mouth.

I drove my wife to the INS in Durham today so that she could get her fingerprints taken for her upcoming Green Card. I drove our little chipmunk around in the car while we waited for her.

We then went to the fire department in Morrisville as we learned that the will help you to install car seats. We both took mental notes as we will be installing this car seat in the Camry we rent up in Canada.

I reserved a Camry for our trip to Canada next month.
