Day #4621 (Wed., Aug. 31, 2022) – Fixing Bobby’s Filling
We have sorted out the lunch issue with Bobby & Ethan, at least for the time being. Allie, Ethan’s mom, and I, will take turns checking the kids out. My wife and Allie’s husband will help out from time-to-time as well. Allie sent us the photo to the right showing the kids enjoying lunch.
After picking Bobby up at Glenwood this afternoon I took him to the dentist. He was excited to have his iPad in the back seat on the drive over and loved playing with it while the dentist fixed his filling. The dentist came out after he was done and said that Bobby was probably his best patient. Just put an iPad in front of him so that he can play Roblox and Minecraft and he will sit through anything… 🙂
When we got home I asked Bobby what he wanted for dinner. His reply? A tomato and turkey sandwich of course! I’m not sure why he’s into these as of late but he sure likes them. For some reason he doesn’t want cheese on it. Maybe this is the “starter package” working up to a BLT? Time will tell.
Later this evening I went to Walgreens on Franklin to get my flu shot. They say that the new COVID booster will be available next week, so I want to get this flu shot out of the way…
I asked Katie if she sees Murren these days since she is no longer in any classes with her. She says that she does see her in the hallways from time-to-time but tries to avoid her when she can.
I picked up some coconut almond ice cream at Harris-Teeter the other day. The tub is 3/4 gone! Katie found it and loves the stuff!
