Day #4628 (Wed., Sept. 7, 2022) – Magnetic Building Blocks
The kids are still sick and are home today as well. My wife is checking their temperature often, and if it does down to within an acceptable range, off they go…
We are planning on giving Arnesa’s boy Ansar a magnetic building blocks set for his birthday. When Bobby saw it he said that he wanted one as well. My wife asked me what I thought as Bobby was crying in the background. I said that this is definitely a toy that he will play with. Many times last year as I was picking him up he stated how this was the toy that he played with at school when he had a chance. So, since he is home sick today, and it will keep him off the computer, he got the kit (see photo to the right). We will get an identical set for Ansar.
I went to Aldi for groceries at noon today. The big need was tomatoes & deli turkey for the sandwiches that Bobby loves so much. While there I happened to see a “Hawaiian Pizza” in the frozen section. I also got some chicken salad for the wife and ice cream for the kids.
While I was out running errands I also picked up three pairs of jeans & shorts at the tailor that Katie was having altered.
I spent most of the day cleaning up the bedroom. I have now either shredded, thrown out, or organized into boxes the stuff that I need to go through. My wife helped quite a bit with the floors and bathroom as it is hard for me to get on my knees with my replacements. Looking good!
