Day #4629 (Thu., Sept. 8, 2022) – Robin’s Remains
Both kids are still home sick today.
This afternoon my wife went out to see our vet as Robin’s remains have arrived (see photo to the right). The kids, especially Katie, wanted to give Robin a proper burial on our property. We’ll have to talk to her about this at some point. It’s a bit too emotional right now with all that is going on. My wife started to read the card that came with Robin’s remains but could not continue after only a few words. More on this matter later.
We called up Experian in Canada today. They told me that they do not have credit scores for my time in Canada as I last worked there in 1992.
My wife stopped off at Arnesa’s house today. She told Arnesa that she can come over to our place and sort through all the various clothes and toys and take what she wants. Whatever is left over we will farm out to people who will do all the extra work to tag and submit it to the upcoming consignment sale. We will have to share our proceeds with them, but this is just too much work for us right now given our time schedule.
Queen Elizabeth died today. I was joking with Katie that I don’t quite understand “They are mourning in England this evening”… How can they be in morning and evening at the same time? It must be a real nightmare to learn English as a second language…
