Day #4630 (Fri., Sept. 9, 2022) – U.S. Passport Applications

The whole family bundled up in the van and off to the Post Office on Estes we went to get out US passports.  My wife already obtained hers for her recent trip to Washington to get her Lithuania Passport renewed.  Bobby, Katie, and I had our photos taken and the clerk had us sign our applications and off they went.  We should have valid US passports in about 8-12 weeks.

While we were waiting at the post office the kids and I tried to solve today’s Wordle.  Five letters, with “E, A, R, and N”…  What was the last letter?  We stewed over it but it came to me as soon as I got home… RAVEN!

On the drive home I started to feel bad.  It’s actually kind of amazing that I haven’t been sick with the kids this week, but I think I’m getting it now.  By the time I got home I went right to bed.  I’ve been fighting off “something” for the rest of the day.

My wife got an update from the doctor’s office and it looks as though Bobby has norovirus.  He’s been moping around and feeling sick all day (see photo to the left).  Do I have the same?  Time will tell but it appears so.

Prince (or I guess I now need to say) King Charles gave his first speech today after ascending to the throne of England.  William and Kate have new titles, namely the Prince & Princess of Wales.
