Day #4647 (Mon., Sept. 26, 2022) – Katie Has Covid!
We had a contractor (i.e.: Adan) come over to our house today to go over all the various repairs we need. The most pressing need is to fix the ladder that goes to our attic. We are also going to get him to fix up the room that we are hoping to rent out. He suggested laminate flooring for the basement.
My wife took Bobby to violin class today. Katie is not feeling well so she stayed home with me. She has been complaining that Bobby doesn’t want to play Bloxsburg with her. I talked to him and he said that he doesn’t enjoy it. I suggested that she create some kind of a “hide and seek” game that Bobby would enjoy. Katie didn’t think that you could turn a character’s nametag off, making this sort of a game impossible. I did a bit of research and you can indeed turn it off (see photo to the right). Katie was very excited to talk to Bobby about this once he gets home from violin class.
Katie has been sick all weekend and today we found out why…she has COVID. My wife administered the at-home test and sure enough, it beamed back “yes”. My wife and Bobby and I also took the test and we are fine…for now. What bad timing. She just received her COVID booster shot on Saturday. Perhaps this will give her some added protection?
