Day #4654 (Mon., Oct. 3, 2022) – Adan Works!

Katie went to school this morning, but Bobby, who tested for COVID, is home this week.  My wife said we might be able to send him to school on Friday.

Adan stopped by the house today to start his first day of contractor work.  He ended up on the roof, and I could hear him walking about as I took my nap.  I’m not sure if I had COVID or “whatever”, but even this racket could not keep me from sleeping.

Adan also brought his own leaf blower and cleaned up the patio.  When he looked at the shed he was perplexed as to why the walkway to the front door was not made out of treated wood.  It’s rotten now and my wife actually broke through it the other day.

Katie had a boy come up to her and express his love for her today.  My wife said that she wants to talk to me about it, but was playing on the computer now.  We actually got a chance to talk about it later this evening.  When he told Katie this she responded “Wow, you’re the first person who has said this to me” and left it at that, which I thought was a pretty good non-comital response.

The photo to the right shows the “GoGo Squeez Yogurts” that the kids like.  Bobby actually had one today and said that he hated the taste.  Is this due to his COVID?  They say that the sense of taste going is one of the telltale signs.
