Day #4661 (Mon., Oct. 10, 2022) – Chiggerex

Katie drew this beautiful picture of a griffin bird the other day (see photo to the left).

I felt pretty good this morning so I drove Bobby to school.  On the way we talked about the upcoming Christmas Advent Calendar that I created last year.  I asked him what he wanted to “stuff it with”.  He thought a bit and then said Roblox.  Now to see if there are enough Roblox characters or things available.  I wonder if it’s too late to order something like this from China?  It’s cheaper there.  I discussed this with my wife the other day and she thinks that Katie might like to have clothes & accessories in her Advent Calendar this year.  As you will recall, if the item is too big to “stuff inside” the little drawers, we put a number in the drawer and attach the same number to a gift under the tree.  Problem Solved.

I had a nap when I got home and when I got up I was dizzy and tired.  I kind of had a dream about feeling this way, exactly like I did in the dream I had last Friday.  What’s wrong with me?  Why don’t my COVID tests show positive?  At any rate, my wife went to pick Bobby up at Glenwood this afternoon.

The kids went to the creek for a walk this afternoon.  It was dark by the time they got home so I thought I might have to go looking for them.  As it turns out they went farther this time according to Bobby.

Just before bedtime Bobby and I watched a YouTube video on the television in the living room.  The channel is “Brave Wilderness” and the video involved him getting bitten by hundreds of mosquitos.  He said that Chiggerex works great on mosquitos as well as chiggers.

On another video a guy was restoring a motorcycle.  I took the opportunity to explain to Bobby the difference between gas and oil and why you need both in an engine.  It’s great to have these little times together to impart knowledge.  These videos tend to trigger these questions that need to be answered.
