Day #4665 (Fri., Oct. 14, 2022) – Ear Ring OUT!
It’s nice to have my car back. I took Bobby to school this morning and on the way I told him the riddle about the “Fox, Bunny, & Wheat”. There are various derivations of this, but you need to get all three to an island, but your boat can only carry one at a time. If you leave the fox and bunny alone the fox will eat the bunny. If you leave the bunny and the wheat alone the bunny will eat the wheat. Anyway, after playing around with this for a bit I told Bobby the answer.
Once I dropped Bobby off I drove to the service station near Fearrington Village as they have an automatic car wash (see photo to the left). I got the special treatment for $14, but with my old car it doesn’t look that much better… 🙂
I then drove to Aldi for groceries. Along with the staples we needed paper towels. Bobby made sure that I picked up some of those cookies he loves (see photo to the right), and some Hershey’s chocolate bars.
When I got home Adan was having problems starting his truck so I had to give him a boost with some battery cables we found in the cabinet that holds the garden tools. Since I just did this the other day I remembered how to connect them… 🙂
My wife drove Katie out to the cosmetic surgeon this morning and as they were discussing anesthesia and operating procedures the doctor took the piece of the earring out of her ear. My wife thinks that they were trying to distract Katie.
After dropping Katie off my wife needed me to drive her to UNC as she was running late for her Chinese class. I met her on Maple Street with an apple and a cinnamon bun to eat on the way.
I picked Bobby up at school today. For a special treat I took one of the cinnamon buns that I purchased at Aldi this morning. I told him that I also had chocolate milk waiting for him when we got home.
Adan fixed the attic steps, so this evening my wife went to get all the boxes of clothes. Arnesa will get the pick of the litter, then Adan, and the rest will go to the consignment sale.
