Day #4670 (Wed., Oct. 19, 2022) – 24 Cans Of Food
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Bobby asked me if chocolate keeps you awake. I told him that it has caffeine in it, and caffeine is in coffee and will keep you awake, so yes. He replied good as mom put a chocolate cookie in his lunch today. When I glanced back at him just before we arrived at Glenwood he was almost asleep in the back seat. As it turns out, he was up in the middle of the night for about three hours playing on his iPad.
After dropping Bobby off I drove to Walmart to pick up 24 cans of vegetables. We will use these to get into the NC State Fair tomorrow for free. They will distribute them to people in need around the state.
When I picked Bobby up this afternoon he didn’t seem too tired, but my wife asked me to put him to bed for a quick nap. A lot of commotion and crying. Mei Mei (i.e.: Bobby’s name for Maple) would not stay in the room. I told him to just rest for 10 minutes and I would lie down with him. Soon he was out… He was overtired, that’s why all the commotion about going to bed…
While I was at Walmart this morning I picked up a big bag of frozen Chinese dumplings. Katie loves them. I’m sure I will be off to Walmart soon to pick up another bag.
