Day #4674 (Sun., Oct. 23, 2022) – Daddy & Daughter & Son Day

I decided to have both Daddy/Son Day #56 and Daddy/Daughter Day #125 today.  Something a bit different.

First up, breakfast with Bobby!  He really likes pancakes so I thought that we would go to McDonald’s and share their “Big Breakfast”.  This turned out well.  He loved the pancakes with maple syrup and I finished off the rest of the meal, which included a biscuit, eggs, and sausage patty.

On the way to McDonald’s I needed gas.  Bobby helped me pump the gas, and really liked the process.  I told him that he could get a Slushie in the gas station if he wanted, but once we went inside he opted for a large bag of potato chips.

My wife took the kids to see the Chapel Hill Philharmonia this afternoon.  Their viola/violin teacher Miss Patricia performs in it.  You can see Bobby enjoying the concert in the photo to the right.

This evening I had another Daddy/Daughter Day with Katie.  She wanted to go to McDonalds and got her usual “2 Cheeseburger Meal” deal.  I got her a large fries and although I helped her with it, it was quite a bit.  She was only able to eat one of her cheeseburgers.  We drove around Chapel Hill talking about school and life in general.
