Day #4680 (Sat., Oct. 29, 2022) – Pokemon Advent Calendar
My wife slept in this morning. When she got up, she told me why… She came out to the living room at 2:30 am and the lights were on and the tv was blaring. She went looking for Bobby but could not find him. She looked all over the house and started to panic when she found him on the couch. He was sleeping in his Ninja outfit and blended in with the couch cover. Apparently he got up and went out to the living room to watch tv and fell asleep.
This morning I gave Bobby the Pokemon Calendar that I picked up at Aldi the other day (see photo to the left). He had mentioned to me that Manny, his best friend at school, was into Pokemon, and it was cheap enough, so why not. It was supposed to be an advent calendar but with Halloween so close we opened them all up at the same time. He really liked the Picachu and other characters and started to create a house for them out of his magnetic tiles. Later in the day he took them to the bath with him.
Katie mentioned this afternoon that she wanted to carve a pumpkin. I asked Bobby if he wanted to carve one as well, so the three of us went to the pumpkin seller on Estes road to pick them out. My wife wanted to stay home to clean the house. They didn’t come cheap… A small and medium one set us back $19.00
