Day #4682 (Mon., Oct. 31, 2022) – Halloween!
Today is a teacher/work day so the kids are off school. My wife and I met with Bobby’s teachers at Glenwood this morning.
This afternoon my wife had Chinese class, and after playing soccer in the front yard for a bit, the kids and I decided to go busking. Katie was all for it but Bobby needed a bit of encouragement. We ended up at Aldi, but it started to rain, and my car was acting up, so we went home.
I’m going to get a frame for the first $5 that the kids made busking. Something that they can look at and use as a motivational technique moving forward.
This evening with met with Ethan, Brin, and their parents to do a bit of trick-or-treating in the Meadowmont area (see photo to the left). Bobby dressed up as the grim reaper and Katie dressed up as a plague doctor from the days of the black death. You know, the ones with the facemask resembling a bird.
