Day #4684 (Wed., Nov. 2, 2022) – Meat Lasagna
Both Katie and Bobby are home sick today. We are close to using up our allotment of sick days at their schools for this year. If that happens we will need to get notes from the doctor to prove to the school that they are indeed sick and not playing “hookey” (if they use that term anymore).
Katie’s drawing is coming along wonderful (see photo to the right)! I’ve been telling her that she needs to create a graphic novel or comic book with an associated story.
My wife went to her swimming class this morning and then Chinese class this afternoon. I put Bobby to bed for a nap. He kept complaining that he wasn’t tired, and his nose was sure running, but once he calmed down he was “out”.
I went to Harris-Teeter this afternoon for some wraps and ended up picking up a meat lasagna for dinner. Katie said she liked it except for the meat, so I might pick up the 5-cheese lasagna next time. At least this version was not spicy.
Chairman Powell of the Federal Reserve raised interest rates another 0.75 percent this afternoon. The market tanked!
