Day #4685 (Thu., Nov. 3, 2022) – Cheese Lasagna

Both kids are home again today, but they both felt better by the PM.  My wife took them to the doctor this afternoon, but she said it’s something that would just have to run it’s course.

Bobby and I played a game of Battleship this morning (see photo to the right).  The hardest part of the game is getting those little pegs out of their slots, as the game is relatively new.

The meat lasagna that I picked up at Harris-Teeter yesterday was such a hit that I stopped by this afternoon to pick up their cheese version.  After trying both Katie mentioned how she preferred the meat version.  While there I picked up a package of candy apples (which was on sale) at 3 for $3.

We are constantly getting alerts from Glenwood on how their will not be a bus driver for this bus or that bus today due to the bus driver shortage.  My wife and I are happy that we didn’t use the bus system this year for Bobby.

Bobby wanted to take a break this afternoon, but he is only allowed to watch educational YouTube videos now, so we ended up watching “Science Max (from Canada)” at: https://www.youtube.com/c/ScienceMax .  On the two versions of the show we watched he was making cornstarch mud and a boat out of tin foil.

Since Katie is no longer throwing hoops we lowered the basketball hoop in our front yard so that Bobby can sink them better.  Bobby and I played that for a while, then Katie joined us for some soccer.
