On the drive to school this morning Bobby told me that Pavel is one of the bad boys in his class.
Katie woke up with a headache and went right back to bed. I took her to school later in the day. She missed science class but was able to go to orchestra class.
I framed the first money that the kids earned busking this morning (see photo to the left). It was a $5 bill, and I put it up in Bobby’s room.
The CPI (i.e.: Consumer Price Index) report came out this morning and it showed a slight easing in inflation, so the stocks roared up. The Dow was up +1200 by the end of the day!
Bobby told me that he had a cheeseburger for lunch at school today. On the way home from Glenwood we talked about cars and how the names Toyota, Suzuki, and Ford was the last name of the person who made these cars.
My wife made clam chowder this morning. I asked Bobby if he wanted to have some when we got home. He said that “I have never tasted clam chowder before and I don’t want to”.
I found a form online “in lieu of guarantor” that I can fill out and send to get my Canadian passport.
I went to Coastal Federal this afternoon to deposit the check I get from Australia and learned that Kim Paradise has retired. I will need to find another person to fill out the form now.
