Day #4699 (Thu., Nov. 17, 2022) – Bobby Throws Up!

As I was driving Bobby to school this morning they were talking about the NC Kids Online Safety Agreement on the radio.  They say that “On average, 8- to 12-year-olds use screens for more than five and a half hours a day, and 13- to 18-year-olds use screens for more than eight and a half hours a day”.

Bobby didn’t feel well after lunch today. Ms. Miao took him to the front office, but since he didn’t have a fever, she took him back to the classroom to have some rest. Since they were doing the level learning test, the teacher told him that he could just rest and take a nap instead of the test. You can see his classroom, and the “purple” desk at which he sits, in the photo to the right.

After a while Bobby felt a bit better, so he did take the test.  A bit later on in the day, while the teacher was away at a meeting, Bobby felt sick and threw up in the garbage can in his classroom.  The teacher tried to call my wife but the call didn’t go through.  My wife was already in line at that point and picked Bobby up and drove him home.

Onto the saga at Phillips now…  Katie told me that Manny, the boy who expressed his love for Katie, is acting strange towards her now.  Teenage boys…
