Day #4717 (Mon., Dec. 5, 2022) – Raid Commercial
Both kids are back to school today. I had to take both of them as my wife had to rush off to UNC to take her Chinese exam.
When I picked up Bobby this afternoon he told me that he had spaghetti for lunch. On the way home we got onto the subject of the Raid commercials that used to be on tv when I was growing up. When we got home I showed him some of them on YouTube (see photo to the right).
Today is Advent Calendar Day #5. Katie got a sweater with UNC colors. Bobby got some magnetic tile windows. We were a bit disappointed that they didn’t clip into place with the other magnetic tiles, and then found out the problem. There are other magnetic tiles that are made to accept them! I opened Day #6 of Bobby’s Advent Calendar and found one for Bobby to play with. Problem solved!
Katie has decided that she wants to drop the viola and take up the piano again. Perhaps this is because Tinsley plays the piano? I don’t think she realizes what a “cash cow” playing the viola is when she goes busking. Hard to busk with a piano!
I took Bobby shopping to Harris-Teeter this evening. The main reason was so that he could pick out foods that he likes. We have noticed that he doesn’t seem to like much ever since he got COVID. He actually spit out a Maple Cream Cookie the other day!!! While at HT he bought some microwave spaghetti, cheese ravioli, Jimmy Dean bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, and some Froot Loop waffles. Let’s hope he likes these.
