Day #4731 (Mon., Dec. 19, 2022) – Meeting Nancy
The kids had their viola/violin lessons this morning. Miss Patricia was very disappointed in Bobby’s violin. We thought that the case might need to be replaced as it was not very sturdy, but she said that his violin sounded horrible as well. She recommended a viola/violin seller out in Hillsborough, so it looks like we will be getting both Bobby & Katie’s instruments there.
For the advent calendar today Katie got an organizer and Bobby got a Nerf-like hand rocket (see photo to the right).
This afternoon Nancy came over to see the room we are planning on renting out in January. She realizes that we still need Adan to do some work on the kitchen and such, but she liked the place. She especially liked the filing cabinet in that she is a neurologist and had plenty of papers. She met the kids and likes them, and Batman and Maple as well. I was having a nap so I will meet her sometime in the future.
I played quite a while with Bobby in the front yard this evening. “Hocker”, and flying paper airplanes, and then a bit of basketball. When we came inside we played some Hide & Seek as well. Katie did a wonderful drawing today of Meghan Markle (see photo to the right).
I’ve been asking the kids about going busking, but they keep delaying it… Pretty soon Christmas will be here and the opportunity to get that Christmas cash will be gone…
