Day #4750 (Sat., Jan. 7, 2023) – Father/Daughter Novel?

My wife took the kids to viola/violin lessons this morning.  Katie is growing up and appreciating the value of instruction.  Bobby was very fidgety and whiny though…

Bobby and I made another car out of cardboard and were able to race it with the DC motors we got from Amazon the other day.

I showed Katie and Bobby how to play the card game “Blackjack” or “21”.  I think Bobby still prefers “Old Maid” though…

This afternoon I took the kids busking out front of Aldi.  The weather was a bit cool on their hands so we didn’t stay long.  We did make $4…  I’m afraid that the good Christmas money has passed us by this year…

Katie and I started to work on a collaboration novel today.  The rough ideas is about a girl who has been let down all her life.  She has learned to be self-reliant, and solve things for herself.  She is put into a situation where she can no longer rely on herself, but is forced to accept help from others…  We’re working on the plot and character development now.  This evening I took her to McDonalds for Daddy/Daughter Day #128 so we could flush out some of the details.

Oh, Katie got the McDonalds 2 cheeseburger combo meal and we took one back to Bobby as well.
