Take a look at all the stuff on Bobby’s door (see photo to the right). I especially like the “Do Not Enter” sign… 🙂 Kind of a thing with kids of all generations… 🙂
The electrician came today. For starters she installed our new stove in the kitchen. It’s nice to have a stove back in the house. We used it to cook some chocolate chip cookies this evening for the kids. Mission accomplished!
The next task was to go downstairs and figure out why we no longer have a light in the workshop area. After investigating it turns out that one of the previous repairmen we had cut the wires!!! We’re not exactly sure why but they probably thought they were not needed? It’s amazing how “useless” some of these repairmen are! We did a search online and saw that the average cost of a handyman in the Durham area these days ranges from $156 – $573 (PER HOUR)!!!! I should have been a handyman!
The trip to Victoria is gradually shaping up. We were able to book a couple more hotels on the island. I am looking into car prices at the airport (or is it cheaper & better to book downtown?). Yesterday my wife booked an orca/whale watching tour which Bobby is very excited about.
