My wife took the kids to viola/violin practice today. Katie gets it and realizes that viola is a great skill to have, so she did great. Surprisingly Bobby did good as well! He was not fidgety and even lead the class on a song. When I asked him about this he said that he got to sit down. Is the fact he has to stand so long part of the problem?
A boy and his dog. You can see Bobby giving Maple a kiss in the photo to the left, in-between reading chapters of “Captain Underpants”.
Bobby and Katie were working together on their Bloxburg zoo, where Bobby was doing research on nocturnal animals, and Katie was building the zoo enclosure. I was joking with Bobby that the best way to understand nocturnal animals is to pretend to be one, and since the sun is up, we should do a nap. He laughed and kicked as I pretend tried to drag him off to bed for a nap.
Bobby has been asking Katie to accompany him down to the creek for the past few days, and today was the day. While they were there they played a game of “Hide & Seek”, Bobby’s favorite.
We had our family meeting this evening, and Bobby, as is the norm, was full of energy and had a hard time paying attention. He really needs to have a childhood like I did, where you get to run and jump with the neighbor kids till you are exhausted. Unfortunately, in this day and age, you have to pay for something like this (for example, about $1000 for a full month of daily visits to Spence’s Farm).
