Day #4780 (Mon., Feb. 6, 2023) – Active Shooter Drill
When I picked up Bobby at Glenwood this afternoon he told me that he had vegan nuggets for lunch. His options were vegan nuggets, pizza bagel, or chicken teriyaki. He said that vegan nuggets was the best option of the three.
Bobby also told me that he received “no reminders” today. More on that later…
When we got home I put some fries in the air fryer for the kids. This is an option that always seems to be a winner. I offered Bobby the White Castle Sliders that we had in the freezer but he passed.
The kids usually go to Spence’s Farm for horseback riding lessons on Monday, but the trainer was busy, so we switched it to Wednesday.
Maple bit Bobby on the finger this afternoon, but I don’t know the background on that. Perhaps they were playing or perhaps Bobby’s finger just got in the way.
Katie spray painted Bobby’s hair this evening. Not sure what that’s about but he wants to wear it to school tomorrow. You can see him with his colored hair listening to Encanto songs via Alexa while relaxing on Maple’s bed (see photo to the left). He figured out how to plug his earphones into Alexa as you might have surmised… We didn’t know you could do that…
We got a note from Bobby’s teacher. They had an active shooter drill today and Bobby was told to keep quiet, but he was whispering to his classmates beside him… We had a chat with him tonight about it.
