Day #4794 (Mon., Feb. 20, 2023) – Tree Climber

As I was driving home this morning after dropping Bobby off at Glenwood I saw some tree removal people working in a yard a couple of houses down.  You can see him in the tree in the photo to the right.  When I went to pick up Bobby in the afternoon they were already shredding what was left of it.

I went to Trader Joe’s this morning for supplies, and lucky me (and Katie), they had the cheese tortellini that she loves so much.  I picked up four packages of the stuff in case they go out again.  I also picked up some flax and chia seeds, and packages of yogurt for Bobby.  Incidentally, Bobby had 5 (yes 5) of these yogurts when he came home after school this afternoon.  He munched away on them as he watched the movie “Free Solo”, about Alex Honnold, on the television in my bedroom.

I took the kids horseback riding this afternoon.

This evening we started experimenting with Bing, and their implementation of ChatGPT.  I asked it to: “Make a funny joke about underwear, an Amazon truck, and Maple the dog”.  Here’s what it came up with:

“Here is a joke I made up about underwear, an Amazon truck, and Maple the dog:

What do you get when you cross an Amazon truck with Maple the dog?

A delivery service that plays music while you wait for your underwear! ???

Not the best joke in the world, but at least it tried…
