Day #4832 (Thu., Mar. 30, 2023) – Prep Day!
We are leaving for Victoria bright and early tomorrow morning, so we spent a lot of the day packing.
I picked up Katie at 3 pm this afternoon so my wife could have more time to spend packing. Katie is “raring to go”. My wife picked up Bobby at the bus stop at the end of our street.
Bobby was in a “contemplative” mood this afternoon. You can see him resting outside in the photo to the left.
We brought the coffee maker that I have in the bedroom to the kitchen so that Andrea, the lady while be looking after Maple and Ginger, can have a cup to get her going in the morning.
This evening I made a special trip to Aldi to get some snacks for our trip. I also picked up some pizzas for dinner.
We think that Maple senses that “something is up”… Little does she know that she won’t be seeing us for over a week!
