Day #4842 (Sun., Apr. 9, 2023) – Flight Back Home!
We were up early at 4 am this morning and off to the airport. We dropped the rental car off and left the car keys at the Budget Rent-A-Car Counter.
After a quick flight to Vancouver we had a three hour delay before the flight to Toronto. You can see Bobby on the plane in the photo to the left (he was not in the mood to have his picture taken!).
Once at Toronto we had to rush in order to get our flight to Raleigh. We had to run to the gate and just made it in time. There was a bit of an “issue” with the flight attendant. My wife asked for a cup of water and the attendant said that she would serve us with the rest of the passengers. She also wanted Bobby and I to switch seats as it was a “safety issue”.
After landing we went to McDonald’s for a late dinner.
As we drove into the driveway we could see the silhouette of Maple’s ears perk up at the door. The family is home!!!
