Day #4860 (Thu., Apr. 27, 2023) – A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Both kids are home today. My wife took them to the doctor and she said that they have a virus… Will these wave(s) of sickness ever end?
There is a new Netflix series out called “Almost Australian” that I watched with the kids this morning. It gives a bit of insight into what it’s like to live in Australia.
Katie has been back to playing on piano as of late. It’s good to see that she is not totally sick of it. I know that she was eager to give up piano lessons for the viola.
My wife took Katie to see a play tonight at the East Chapel Hill High School. It was called “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. I saw the 1999 movie of the same name when it came out, but didn’t let on till after they returned. I could not make head nor tail of it since it’s in old English” type language, and from Shakespeare, and they pretty much had the same reaction.
While they were away I fed Bobby and put him to bed this evening. He wanted a “BT Sandwich” (see photo to the left) as he calls it. Just bacon, turkey, and bread, and “nothing else”. He had two of them.
