Day #4873 (Wed., May 10, 2023) – CPI Report

On the drive to Glenwood this morning I told Bobby that the “CPI Report” was coming out at 8:30 am this morning. Surprisingly, he remembered quite a bit about our talk about it last month on the ride to Glenwood. This morning’s report showed inflation “cooling” slightly, so it looks like the Fed will not be raising interest rates in their next meeting.
I picked Bobby up this afternoon at the bus stop down the road. The app that I use to know when the bus is here is really weird. The bus “blip” will be moving along fine, and then just “disappear”. It’s kinda helpful, but I can’t rely on it as it is sometimes wrong…
Bobby told me that he was prince in the game of “War” that they were playing on the bus. “Mini” Ruth was the princess. The object of the game is to get Bobby to give away his crown, but the details were a bit murky from there on.
When we got back home Bobby and I watched a YouTube video on how to make an acrylic guitar with Legos.
Clean up in the front of our house continued today. Katie washed some of Bobby’s Lego’s in the sink.
