Day #4875 (Fri., May 12, 2023) – Watermelon!
I went to Harris-Teeter for groceries this morning. My wife had me pick up a watermelon (see photo to the right) as the season is here, and with all the heat we have been having, it’s a natural refresher! I also picked up two sets of frozen pancakes, regular buttermilk, and chocolate chip. Katie likes the regular and Bobby likes the chocolate chip.
Katie is still home sick. My wife took her to see the doctor this morning and they say it is just a virus which needs to run it’s course.
Since Katie is sick today, Bobby went to violin lesson this afternoon without Katie. He was not feeling well during the lesson so hopefully he is not coming down with what Katie has.
This afternoon Katie and I watched a couple of episodes of “Intervention”. My wife thinks that they are too negative, but they show people who have addictions, how they got that way, and how to get better. It’s actually very valuable information to know and apply, whether you have a serious addiction or not.
When my wife and Bobby returned home we got watching a “Rug Cleaning” video on YouTube. Who would have ever thought that rug cleaning could be so interesting. The rug originally had worms in it, but what a great job they did in cleaning it up (i.e.: https://youtu.be/ycViX8Ti7qA).
