The photo to the left shows the crossword puzzle that I created for Bobby today.
Both Katie and Bobby are home sick today.
We still have a bit of the Oreo ice cream cake in the freezer that I bought a while back. Bobby finished that off this afternoon, so it’s nice to have all that freezer space back again. The box was HUGE.
We are waiting for Bobby’s “HFMD” to show up. Apparently he will start to get blisters that are very contagious. We’ll probably all get it then…
This afternoon my wife kicked Bobby off the computer. He tracked down daddy to see what I was doing. He said that the had “9 Minutes” to when Ethan was home from school and able to play Roblox and Minecraft… How lucky I am to have such an opportunity… 🙂
Katie did a bit of “stop motion” Lego work this afternoon. She showed me the little movie she made.
This evening Katie and I watched the YouTube video about Elon Musk’s advice for children and their future job prospects with AI on the horizon. I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and while I do think AI will take a lot of jobs, I think that there will be a backlash against AI somewhat in the future. Much like there is a market for “American Made”, I feel that there will be a market for “Non-AI Made”. This means the kids really need to get good at something like custom making things without the need for AI, whatever that may be, such as custom made guitars. Katie wants to be a therapist, and I’m sure that there will be people who would rather talk to a human rather than an AI robot about their problems.
