Not only are we taking care of the Ginger, but the Embree’s chickens as well (see photo to the right). They will come over and see me when I get out of the house or into the car. Early this morning I thought that we would have a family day today as I came across a movie, The Spiderwick Chronicles, that I thought both kids would like. Well, it was not to be as Katie developed a 103 degree fever and was not interesting in eating or watching a movie. Sounds like she has what Bobby had, HFMD…
Since we had already discussed the possibility of watching this movie with Bobby, we decided to go ahead with the plan anyway. I went to McDonalds to get the kids their favorite “2 Cheeseburger, Fries, and Fruit Punch” combo meals. We got 1/2 of the way through the movie when Katie appeared in the living room after having a nap. Not interested in yet watching the movie, we decided to postpone finishing it. Katie can have her meal and catch up with the movie when she feels better. We let Bobby call Ethan on the iPad and catch up. He was supposed to go play soccer today but he can’t as the doctor suggested we keep him away from others due to his contagion.
