Day #4884 (Sun., May 21, 2023) – Getting Tylenol
My wife and I are anticipating getting the HFMD like Bobby has since it is so contagious. No signs of it yet. Bobby is feeling much better today, but since he is contagious and the doctor told us to keep him at home he will miss the final soccer game of the season, which is today. Katie is feeling much better, but has a headache, so my wife asked me to pick up some Tylenol when I go out for groceries.
Speaking of which, we need supplies, so I ventured out to Aldi just after noon today. I got $254 worth of groceries, but when you see all that I got (see photo to the left), it was quite the deal when you consider what I would have payed for such a haul at Trader Joe’s.
When I got home Katie had already gone to bed for a nap, so I guess we didn’t need the Tylenol after all. At any rate, she was not interested in napping, but my wife said to just go to her bed and rest and “she was out”. She slept for hours and was feeling much better when she got up.
While Katie was sleeping we finished watching “The Spiderwick Chronicles” with Bobby. I picked up some pizza bagels at Aldi, but Bobby was not interested. He eats them at school sometimes, and I thought he might be interested in having them at home, but no such luck. He was interested in having an ice cream cone of Moose Tracks Ice Cream though…
This evening Katie developed the “classic rash” associated with HFMD.
